Staff are dedicated to knowing each child and their family well, ensuring care and learning needs are met effectively, and fostering a sense of safety and security. The curriculum is exciting and tailored to individual needs, with a strong focus on personal, social, and emotional development.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the management has prioritised closing learning gaps and providing excellent support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). A dedicated inclusion leader, with detailed knowledge of each child, works with staff to provide very good SEND provision, effectively utilising extra funding for support such as one-to-one care.

Staff are skilled at identifying developmental delays and making prompt referrals to other professionals, preparing children for school. Children thoroughly enjoy a range of activities both indoors and outdoors, showing great enthusiasm for learning.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the management team has worked hard to focus on closing potential gaps in children's learning and support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff have received training to support interactions and promote communication skills, which has positively impacted children's progress. The provision for children with SEND is very good; a dedicated staff member leads inclusion and supports children with detailed knowledge of each child. Extra funding is used effectively, such as for one-to-one provision, and staff are skilled at identifying delays and making swift referrals to other professionals, preparing children for school.

Outdoor space

Children thoroughly enjoy a range of activities inside and outside. They are keen to join in and show excitement in their learning.

Absolutely wonderful place. Staff are outstanding and caring and our son loves them. Also from an admin side drop offs are a dream as Trinity has tonnes of parking. Plus in summer it's a lovely place to take him walking about the grounds before or after nursery. Highly recommend.

my 2 year old started cliffe house day nursery horsforth trinity in June 2021 and he loves it. on the days he doesn't go he will cry and ask if he can go. I have found that all the Staff are very helpful and friendly but most important they are extremely loving and caring. I will definitely will be sending my other child when the time comes
