Clive Vale Nursery School, located in Hastings, is an established and friendly group of three Ofsted-registered nurseries. With locations at Clive Avenue, Priory Road (St Clement Hall), and Elphinstone Road, they cater to different age groups across their sites.

The Clive Avenue and Elphinstone Road nurseries welcome children from birth to five years old, both equipped with baby units. The newest addition, St Clement Hall on Priory Road, opened in January 2016 and accommodates children aged 18 months to five years, also featuring a dedicated baby unit.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

Leaders and managers use funding effectively to develop the outside environment, investing in new play equipment to support children's physical skills. Children know that they should wear warm clothes when playing outside in the cold and remind each other to put on their coats.

All staff are friendly, helpful and with a big smile all the time. My daughter Amelie was there for 2 years and she was always happy and willing to stay long days. They help a lot with potty training, always pays attention to her needs and if she plays in the garden, they always change her clothes and never, ever was wet. Amelie started school last year and believe it or not , she still cry sometimes saying that she really misses the kids from nursery and she misses Brandy. All the ladies working there made a huge impact in my daughter life and I really like to say a big thank you all. A huge thank you to Brandy for her smile and kindness towards Amelie.
