About this day nursery

Clowns Children's Centre has been providing childcare for over 30 years, since its establishment in 1990. The nursery focuses on play-based learning within a safe, friendly, and encouraging environment.

Their curriculum is designed to offer a wide range of opportunities, aiming for children to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential. Clowns values each child as a curious, independent individual, fostering their development through carefully selected resources and dedicated staff.

The nursery prioritises high-quality interactions where staff guide children's ideas, language development, and critical thinking. They also implement continuous provision, allowing children to explore their interests and consolidate learning at their own pace.

Sustainability is a key aspect of their operations, with efforts to teach children about environmental care through hands-on experiences, waste reduction, and eco-friendly practices. A strong partnership with parents is encouraged through regular communication, valuing input, and organising family events to enhance the child's learning journey and integrate families into nursery life.

Terrible to get in contact with, never answer emails and keep changing their policy's such as minimum required days. Waited months to hear back after they said they would contact me about a space in a specific month after a walk-around.
