Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. Staff learn new skills, such as Makaton sign language, and work with external professionals to ensure that the needs of the children are met.
Children enjoy the outside area where they can explore the woodland area, climb fallen down trees, smell the herbs in the sensory garden and pick fruit and vegetables to be used in the kitchen. Staff use the outdoor area effectively to promote movement and control of the body through the use of bikes, digging and scooping in oats and jumping through hoops.
The facility is well kept and the rooms are efficient and engaging for children I can't fault that. The downside is the lack of communication, emails ignored when trying to enquire about reserving a space contacted them early January was told what availability there was for when I required childcare , I even visited to have tour, but when I tried to reserve a space with the dates I was given my email ignored, eventually when contact was made on the back of me chasing them up in January, February and even March the availability decreased from 3 days down to 2 days to a waiting list for 2025, when questioned about the lack of clarity it was merely excused due to awaiting new fees, but still didn't respond about securing the placement in advance. Not helpful communication at all especially when you're trying to get your child into nursery in advance of going to work. If you do contact them be prepared to be ignored or overlooked not professional at all. Time wasters
