About this day nursery

Club 0-5 limited, established in 2006 in Telford, provides childcare for children aged 0-4 years. 30am to 6pm, all year round except for bank holidays and one week at Christmas, it offers a consistent and familiar environment for children.

The nursery received an overall "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 5th April 2024. Leaders and staff have successfully enhanced children's safety and early education, with a curriculum designed to build knowledge and skills, such as independence at mealtimes and physical development.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on inclusive education, ensuring all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress. Leaders work with the local authority SEND coordinator to provide necessary support.

While staff effectively plan for learning based on observations, and the pre-school room is well-equipped, the inspector noted that planning for indoor and outdoor learning environments in the 'wobblers' room could be improved to better support a wider range of learning areas. The nursery also focuses on children's social skills, language development through songs and books, and promotes an understanding of the wider community.

Staff are attentive to children's needs, maintaining good hygiene and encouraging healthy habits with nutritious meals and daily physical activity.
