Established by two experienced childminders, Carmen and Kat, the nursery aims to blend the comforts of home life with an enriching woodland environment.
Recognised for its "Outstanding" Ofsted rating across all areas, Cobnuts emphasises experiential learning through activities like den building, mud kitchen play, planting, pond-dipping, and fire safety education. The curriculum is designed to foster an understanding of the natural world, develop problem-solving skills, teach risk assessment, and promote tool safety.
The nursery is committed to sustainability, evident in its mealtime practices that prioritise reducing waste and plastic use, and its seasonal exploration through activities like making elderflower cordial or tapping beech trees.
