Avenue Nursery and Forest School, established in 1974, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in Herne Bay. With a team of highly qualified and experienced graduate-led staff, Avenue Nursery aims to inspire a love of learning through engaging activities and a strong connection to nature. The introduction of Avenue Nursery Forest School in 2016 further enhances their outdoor learning provision, allowing children to explore and develop skills through child-led fascinations and real-life natural experiences.

The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) works across both settings to support any children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The SENCo has built strong links with other professionals to help ensure children receive any assistance that is available to them.
