The staff at preschool have been really supportive of not just the children, but of the parents also. We attended the AGM in November which was really informative and have always found communication very open. The staff are always happy to talk at drop off/pick up and prior to starting, Marion answered all questions allowing us to have great confidence that we had chosen the right setting. Since starting in September, we have seen huge growth in our childs independence and also feel that the swift success of potty training was certainly down to the consistency and support of the Preschool. We have also seen a huge increase in the variety of foods eaten and our childs understanding of Healthy eating. Having the Early club has allowed our child to adjust, being able to get settled before the other children arrive. The ‘Child Focus Week’ via the Tapestry App was really useful and along with showing where he was succeeding, it highlighted areas that needed focusing. This was then followed up with a small ‘focus group’ to work on those skills. Our child flourished at the setting and has always been allowed to be his own self, he talks about the staff at home/on weekends and is always excited to share what he has done with them, however small. The Preschool have started working with on penmanship and recognition of numbers and letters.
