Coumes Spring Children's Centre, located in Sheffield, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged three months to eleven years. ” They provide dedicated spaces tailored for babies, two-year-olds, and preschoolers, each with its own outdoor area for exploration.
In addition to these age-specific rooms, the nursery boasts a fenced garden where children can engage in growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers, connecting with nature. Communication with parents is key, facilitated by a dedicated Key Person system and the use of Tapestry, an interactive online journal, which allows parents to track their child’s progress and share insights from home.
Beyond nursery care, Coumes Spring also runs the Kingfisher Club, an Out of School Club and Holiday Playscheme, offering a safe and engaging space for school-aged children to relax, pursue hobbies, and socialise with friends. The centre’s approach focuses on respecting each child's individuality and supporting their development at their own pace.

Fees are charged hourly and split into two age bands: ages 0-2 and age 2 to starting school. Out-of-school and holiday clubs are charged per session depending on arrival and collection times. Breakfast and snacks are included for some sessions, but parents must provide packed lunches, nappies, and wipes.
