Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well by the manager and staff. For example, staff put targets in place and implement these to help children progress. Staff take children for several visits to the school they will move on to, allowing them to become familiar with the environment and teachers.
Outside, in the forest area, pre-school children are provided with hand-over-hand support to understand how to use a ride on digger. Children are supported to think about where to move their arms and hands to make the equipment pick up stones. Recent changes also include moving large climbing equipment nearer the window to allow babies to independently watch ducks outdoors.
The staff in the baby room have been wonderful, making sure my baby is well looked after. Greatly appreciated staff who took extra care of him when he first started. Plenty of outdoor time which he has come to love. Management team have been very good at helping us with extra childcare in emergency at short notice and quick communicators. The sustanance fee is very fair. I appreciate that everything (meals, snacks, nappies, wipes, suncream etc.) is including in it making packing his bag of just spare clothes for the day very simple.
Read on GoogleWe have used Creative Hands from the start with our eldest Alfie and to more recently with our youngest Niall. We have been supported by knowing Laurie, David and the fantastic team at Creative Hands were looking after our kids in a way that has helped them to become who they are now and helped them give a brilliant start to when they started school. We still have the pleasure of sending Niall for half term cover. I couldn’t think of anywhere better to send our kids in the most important time before school.
Read on GoogleWe have enrolled our daughter at this nursery as it was welcoming, the staff are friendly and it just felt right

My daughter has been there since she was a baby she’s nearly three now and enjoys her time there. Laurie is always very helpful and all of the staff are also. Thanks for everything.
