Inclusion & environment
Staff identify children who may need extra support. They make appropriate referrals to other professionals and agencies. Additional funding is used to provide increased staffing levels and one-to-one support. Consequently, children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive the right support in an inclusive environment. One staff member has accessed a higher-level course to support them in their role as the special educational needs coordinator.
Children have many opportunities for outdoor play and learning. Older children show genuine excitement as they hunt for minibeasts in the woodland area. Younger children confidently pull themselves up onto a small climbing frame. This supports the development of their large-muscle skills.
My son has just started in the baby room at the nursery. I'm so impressed with the team who work there and I know he's having a great time playing and experiencing new things. The food sounds great and I've even seen his first painting! The outdoor space is amazing and I'm so pleased he gets to experience that whilst I'm working.
Read on GoogleI did my placement at this wonderful Nursery as part of my Primary Teacher Training and I would just like to sing their praises. Throughout my training (and as life with a 5 year old) I have seen/visited and spend time in a lot of schools and seen/worked in a lot of Nursery’s however, this particular place was amazing with the children who visited and spent the day with us. The staff are lovely, so kind and friendly with everyone- more specifically the children and babies. They have polite meal times, they teach children manners and how to play and interact with other children/ make friends, they stimulate the hours with activity’s and fun things for the young children to do and play. If I lived closer I would send my own children to this Nursery without hesitation and I really enjoyed my time training in this school alongside the staff and the children. X
Read on GoogleSuper super amazing nursery and the staff are incredible. Always welcoming and smiles ready to make the day even better, my child loved being there and I can not wait to send my second one to village nursery too 🤩
Read on GoogleThis is the best nursery that anyone can find in UK. I tried different childminders, nannies and nurseries numerous times for my kids, and I was never happy with them. I thought maybe it was me that I expected alot, but this nursery is fantastic. I love to drop and pick up times, only to see the smily faces of their teachers. Kids are running every day to get inside. I wish I knew them for my first child.
Read on GoogleMichelle the manager is fantastic. Not only does she run the nursery but she’s hands on and knows all the children. All the staff are amazing and my little boy absolutely loves them and enjoys going so much.
