Creative Kids Nursery, a family-operated establishment since 1996, is dedicated to offering exceptional childcare within a nurturing, secure, and stimulating environment. The nursery’s core philosophy, deeply ingrained within local communities, revolves around fostering each child's comprehensive development across all areas.
' The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to different age groups, from infants (3-18 months) to toddlers, 2-3 year olds, and pre-schoolers, ensuring a smooth transition through each developmental stage. For babies, the focus is on early development, including weaning and physical milestones, while toddlers are introduced to more structured routines, self-feeding, and early learning concepts like shapes and colours.
As children progress, the focus shifts to fostering independence, social skills, and school readiness, including foundational literacy and numeracy. Creative Kids Nursery also places a high emphasis on parent partnerships, recognising the importance of a strong link between home and nursery life for a child's successful development.
They adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, tailoring activities to individual needs while promoting a 'family' atmosphere where children can learn, play, and grow.

Inclusion & environment
Staff are skilful at supporting children with any special educational needs and/or disabilities or those who may have delays in their learning. For instance, they use specific strategies to help support children who may have delays in their language skills, such as using signs and gestures to aid their understanding and communication.
The inspectors observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
My daughter started at Creative Kids when I returned from maternity leave at 1 year old and she’s now 21 months. She has come on so much since joining and is always so happy going in, which makes such a difference. The settling-in process was brilliant and we really appreciated the settling reports when she moved into a new room — they’re always so thoughtful and spot on, and it’s clear the staff really know her. The outdoor space is lovely too and she spends loads of time playing and exploring outside, which she absolutely loves. The staff are warm, caring and genuinely invested in the children, and I always feel confident she is well looked after. Communication is good and keeps us in the loop without feeling overwhelming. We’re really happy with Creative Kids and would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a kind and nurturing nursery.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending Creative Kids four days a week since last year and she absolutely loves it. All of the staff are so lovely, caring, and welcoming — it’s clear they really enjoy what they do. There’s always something new and fun happening, with a great variety of activities and regular visitors coming in to do dance and sports sessions each week. It’s been wonderful to see how much my daughter has grown in confidence and how excited she is to go in every morning. I’m so grateful to the team for creating such a happy and nurturing environment. I couldn’t recommend Creative Kids more highly!
Read on GoogleBoth my sons attend Creative Kids Emerson Park. Both starting in the baby room. My eldest now in the preschool room and youngest in one of the 1-2s. My favourite thing about the age groups is how there is 7 rooms where as most nurseries have 3 age groups rooms. Creative kids doesn't put a 9month old non walking baby with an 18month who is running around. This allows the children to develop safely and with age appropriate activities and toys. Both my children have made good bonds with the staff and made friends. My eldest talks so fondly of his days. He recreates the dance classes for us when he returns home from the dance teacher who comes in. They are always clean, happy and it is obvious that most of the staff know the children well. My eldest son also wakes up excited to go to nursery to play with his friends and see his teacher. I couldnt imagine sending them anywhere else.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending Creative Kids Nursery for three years, three days a week, and he absolutely loves it! The staff are incredibly caring and supportive - he’s built such strong and positive relationships with each of them. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children and their development. I couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else and would highly recommend Creative Kids Nursery.
Read on GoogleTaken my son out of this nursery after one year of being worried about his care. Staff are young and inexperienced. Management rude and it very much is a private nursery where they care more about the money. I am surprised this place is still running. Don’t be fooled by their “open days” our son is thriving and much happier at his new nursery. While at creative kids we were told he is quiet. All the other parents feel the same but due to lack of options this is the best (worst) havering has to offer.
