About this day nursery

Crescent Corner Nursery, part of Cornerstone Nurseries, is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children in Sheffield. The nursery believes in an individualised approach to learning, where children progress based on their developmental stage rather than age, with significant input from parents.

They emphasise creating a safe and supportive atmosphere that encourages both indoor and outdoor activities, including engaging with nature through mud kitchens, bug hotels, and vegetable patches. These hands-on experiences are integrated into their homemade meals, fostering environmental awareness and practical skills.

Crescent Corner understands the demands of modern family life and offers flexible services to accommodate varying schedules and unexpected needs, ensuring a supportive experience for both children and their parents. The nursery is committed to creating a first-class educational setting that embraces each child's unique qualities through play-based learning and pedagogical approaches.

Our ethos

We at Cornerstone Nurseries would like to welcome you to our website, which will give you an insight into our facilities, and what type of wonderful childcare we offer. Our nurseries provide a first class caring and educational learning environment for your child which is supported by our Ethos of educating children through a play-based environment. We embrace each child’s journey through our nurseries as individual, as every child has their own unique qualities which are encouraged through our Pedagogical approaches, without this in place a child is not as responsive to learning.
