Inclusion & environment
All children are making excellent progress, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) demonstrates extensive knowledge of supporting children with SEND and works in partnership with parents and specialist outside agencies to seek additional specialist support children may need.
Children thoroughly enjoy practising and developing a wide range of physical skills, including balancing, dancing and jumping, indoors and outside. They relish the opportunities to participate in planting seeds and grow flowers and vegetables in the nursery garden. Opportunities for mark making are abundant and visible throughout both the indoor and outdoor areas.
My grandson left The Croft Nursery yesterday after two and a half wonderful years. From day one the care he has had has been outstanding. From the baby room to preschool he has had a wonderful start preparing him for school. The staff are kind and caring. They really get to know the children and the family, and they understand how hard it is to leave your most precious baby. O, and the food is lovely too! Our little guy usually had 2 dinners!!
Read on GoogleThe Croft is a great nursery. The staff are professional, friendly and take great care of the children in their care. My oldest daughter attended and my youngest is about to start there and knowing that she is being looked after by the staff at The Croft will make going back to work much easier!!!
Read on GoogleBrilliant nusery and staff. Facilities are great and cater for all development stages. My eldest son attended from 6 months to school age and had such a happy time. They cover all aspects of educational, outdoor and creative play and he left completely prepared for school. Our toddler has now also attended since he was 9 months old and is thoroughly content and stimulated by the wonderful environment provided by the team.
