Staff at Crosby Nursery gently support children who are learning to manage their emotions, offering reassuring cuddles and engaging them in favourite stories to help them calm down. Children are strongly valued, celebrating their time at the nursery by 'making their mark' on a dedicated wall as they prepare to move on to school.
The curriculum supports children in developing a love for books and reading, with older children learning about authors and illustrators, and babies showing interest in a daily 'book swap' cabinet. The outdoor learning environment is carefully managed, with staff ensuring close supervision during activities like running on the hill and using climbing apparatus to minimise risks and keep children safe.
The nursery proudly provides funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children.

Fantastic nursery that feels like home . After 7 + years my 3 grandchildren have all gone to crosby nursery and the youngest just finishing this week ,all of them loved going and thrived . All the staff are friendly and approachable and you feel that the children are cared for like family. I would recommend Crosby nursery to anyone . Thankyou so much to Sarah and all your staff including Gary the chef who was a big hit with Neveand Harry. We are going to miss you all but appreciate your help at the start of my grandchildren journey through life .
