About this day nursery

CW King Fishers Day Nurseries Limited, established in 2023, provides childcare for children aged 0-4 years. 30 pm, Monday to Friday, the nursery offers a warm and welcoming environment where children are happy and thrive.

Children arrive eager to begin their day, separating easily from parents and carers to join friends and exciting opportunities. They show focus and concentration, for example, when drawing characters from the story of the "Three Little Pigs" and carefully choosing colours.

Staff act as positive role models, facilitating play and helping children develop friendships. The nursery has strong support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), with staff working closely with parents and other agencies to ensure timely referrals.

A recent garden refurbishment has provided more outdoor learning opportunities, including growing plants and vegetables. Older children show care and concern for younger children during outdoor play.

" Communication is a strength, with parents feeling well-informed about their children's learning and how to support it at home. The curriculum for communication and language is well-delivered, with many opportunities for children to hear language through rhymes and stories, leading to older children having wide vocabularies.

The nursery focuses on providing a stimulating environment where children enjoy participating in exciting and challenging activities, developing problem-solving skills, and creating their own games.

My children have been attending Kingfishers Brigstock since September, and they have truly enjoyed their time there. The staff are friendly and consistently go the extra mile for the children. I value the feedback I receive during pick-up as well as through the portal, as it keeps me informed about my child's day and the activities they've engaged in. I am genuinely impressed by how adaptable the nursery is to our needs, as well as their informative approach regarding childcare funding. Most importantly, it feels like a family environment, ensuring the children are happy here. They have acquired new skills and come home singing songs, confidence has grown enormously and go into nursery happy which I absolutely love. I would highly recommend this nursery!
