Daisy Chains Nursery, established in 1990, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children in a charming detached building that retains its original character. The nursery aims to be a 'home from home,' fostering a sense of belonging, safety, and value for both children and their families.

A team of dedicated and experienced nursery practitioners, many of whom have been with Daisy Chains for over a decade, deliver high-quality care and education during these formative years. The premises are furnished to a high standard, offering spacious and homely rooms.

Daisy Chains operates under the registration and approval of Ofsted and Bolton Council Early Start, in accordance with the 1989 Children Act, and is also a proud member of the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA).

Fees are based on an 8am to 5pm day, with optional early bird and late stay sessions. Funding is stretched over 47 weeks, with unfunded hours charged at an hourly rate. A daily consumables fee covers meals, snacks, learning journals, and other supplies.

How they support every child

Outdoor space

All children, including the youngest, spend the majority of the day outdoors in the fresh air. Children sleep and eat outside in covered areas, which protect them from the elements while still providing fresh air. Outdoors is a total extension to children's learning and there is a vast wealth of learning opportunities for them to explore.
