Daybreak Nursery, established in September 1995, is located in a beautifully refurbished former school building, offering an environment filled with character and charm. The nursery is dedicated to providing a happy and stimulating space where children can build a strong foundation for their future learning.

The highly motivated staff are known for their creativity, expertise, and experience, identifying learning opportunities in diverse situations and fostering an environment where children feel secure enough to explore independently. Daybreak Nursery caters to different age groups within two main rooms: the Sunflower Room for children from birth to 2 years, and the Sunshine Room for 2-5 year olds, which boasts a variety of activity areas.

An enclosed outdoor area further enhances learning opportunities with features like a large treehouse, a mud hut, and a water wall. The nursery operates with a core belief that every child, family, and staff member is important, striving for a partnership founded on listening to help everyone reach their full potential.

They aim to foster a successful, diverse learning community that is welcoming, respectful, thoughtful, and supportive, ensuring a safe place for collective growth and learning. The curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, with a strong emphasis on individual potential and child-centred learning experiences that are regularly reviewed and assessed.
