Some of the previous reviews were highly unfair of the place. The nursery is clean, well equipped with lots of materials to keep the children occupied throughout the day, meals are of good quality and nutritious and most importantly children are happy and able to enjoy themselves during the day. This is the type of nursery I would send my children to attend if possible. Can't recommend it highly enough. Well done to everyone

My eldest has gone through Dicky Birds Maple Road and my 1 year old is there now. The staff are amazing and the management are attentive. They had a bit of a blip with staffing the younger rooms post-COVID but staffing issues were happening everywhere at the time so it’s not a reflection of their efforts or standards, plus they’ve gotten well over it now. They plan so many activities to keep every day at nursery varied and stimulating for the kids, this is true for all the rooms of all ages from our experience. They have gotten great at keeping parents up to date with communications and pictures as well. The meals are high quality and nutritious. I can’t speak more highly of our experience here.

I wouldn’t recommend this nursery. We waited a year on the waitlist and it was so disappointing when he started. My boy attended for about a year and some of the staff seemed inexperienced and a few of them quite honestly didn’t appear to like kids -I saw numerous occasions were they looked frustrated and bored. In the babies room the staff were lovely and the facilities were appropriate for the age but once my boy moved to the next room up he cried every day I dropped him off which was so out of character and I witnessed the staff being quite rude to the kids. He’s now at a nursery he adores and he runs with open arms to the nursery teachers. Perhaps just a bad experience with some of the carers and I’m not big on giving negative reviews but given this is for childrens care I feel others should know.

It is not a good nursery, when my daughter was enrolled they constantly sent us away saying there's no staff and then calling an agency in panic trying to get random people in. The manager is rude and has no manners and this reflects on the fact they have no staff. It is a small squashed nursery with no qualified staff. Read the reviews before enrolling your child. (I was forced to give 1 star should be 0)
