My son has been at Diggers for over a year now, we had thrown a lot of change his way from moving to the countryside to introducing a baby sister. Joining Diggers has been the best decision we made. I have to emphasise how much (especially his key carer and the manager) have truly been there when we needed a chat and some guidance. My son is thriving and his confidence has bloomed, especially over the summer. I love how much time they have to explore, outside rain or shine. He even pointed out a great tit the other day, it blows my mind that he knows the names of different birds! You really get the feeling that the team care about what they do here, a nursery that is truly for the children.

Diggers is a magical place and I am so grateful both my children (girl and boy) have got to experience their formative years being kids, hunting for worms, learning about plants and animal life (they still surprise me with the knowledge they absorbed at diggers). It has set them up for life like no other setting. The management team were always available for support and wisdom through growing pains and parenting challenges. I can’t thank them enough.

If you want your child to be a child for as long as possible, send them to Diggers. If you want them to explore the beautiful South Downs every day and become nature lovers, send them to Diggers. If you don’t mind them (and you!) being covered in mud and a filthy car, send them to Diggers!! We have been so lucky to have this nurturing magical nursery on our doorstep. It’s how a childcare setting should be - making dens, playing with sticks and mud, cooking on the fire, getting outdoors in all weathers, appreciating nature and all that each season brings. Thank you to all the staff here for looking after our son, and his brother will be joining soon!

Having sent both of our children to Diggers, I can't express how dreamy this place is, and how much it has helped our kids grow and flourish. Every single member of staff, from the keyworkers right up to management, has been absolutely incredible. The care and attention they give to the children every single day is amazing, not to mention the fantastic experiences they have, rain or shine. My children have such a positive connection with the natural world, as well as being confident taking risks and exploring, and having plenty of time to nurture their love of reading, writing, drawing, crafting and small world role play. I cannot recommend this place enough. They are also brilliant at relaying important information back to parents and involving us in our kids' development. If they could take them up to GCSE level, we'd never leave!! I only wish there were more childcare settings like this across the country. If you get a chance to sign your kids up to Diggers, TAKE IT! You will not regret it.

Sent both my children one girl one boy. It’s set them up for life, understanding what is like to be outside, which is the most natural thing in existence. being able to enjoy the beauty of the woods, rain or shine on the southdowns. Key workers were amazing as were Management. Loved see my offspring return smelling of the woods and telling me stories of the Eventful day.
