Could not recommend Early Learning childcare enough!! I decided to put my son into childcare at 9 months old. With viewing alot of nurseries within the area this is the place that made me the most comfortable with going back to work. The staff go above & beyond to help my son learn & thrive through play & social learning. They're so professional & helpful if you need advice. It's also helpful that we can use an app to communicate & also see any updates throughout the day. I cannot thank the staff enough for all that they have done for my son.

had a deeply upsetting experience with Early Learning Childcare on Chapel Street, Salford, and feel the need to share what happened on my son Ethan’s first day, 30th April 2025. When I arrived to pick him up, I rang the bell and had to wait several minutes before anyone came to the door. I clearly said, “Hi, I’ve come to pick up my son, Ethan Carr” — yet I was met with a series of unnecessary questions, as if they were trying to buy time. The door that would normally allow me to see inside was locked. A staff member came, looked at me, then went back inside without opening. Meanwhile, I could hear my son crying — and it sounded like he had been crying for quite some time. Only after knocking repeatedly and raising my voice out of frustration did someone finally bring Ethan out to me. He was clearly distressed and told me that a lady had shouted at him and hurt him. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially on a three-year-old’s first day. What shocked me even more was the lack of communication. I asked why I hadn’t been called or notified on the app if he was crying. The staff member said: “He had only been crying for 10 minutes, and I knew you were coming, so I didn’t do anything.” Excuse me? Ten minutes is a long time for a toddler to be left crying. And frankly, I do not trust that it was only ten minutes, based on how upset Ethan was when I got there. To add to the confusion, the nursery has a second “security” door system which prevents parents from seeing how their children are doing. I’m honestly not sure if that’s meant to protect the children or the staff — but I have serious doubts. This experience has left me deeply uncomfortable. As a mother, I need to feel that my child is in safe, caring, and responsive hands. That was clearly not the case here. Parents, please trust your instincts and ask questions. I wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone.

I have had such a great experience with this nursery so far, my child has been attending the baby room for 5 months now and the staff are amazing. They do everything they can to cater to her needs and are always planning fun activities for her to do as well as taking them on walks around the community and to the park.

My son has been going to ELC nursery for 7 months now and his older sister went there for 3 years until she started school. It’s a brilliant nursery with very caring and friendly employees. I’ve always felt comfortable leaving our children there and we’ve never had any problems or concerns at all. They do lovely creative activities with the children which help them with development, but most importantly have lots of FUN! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Very convenient location if you work in the city centre/Spinningfields. The main entrance is at the back of the building on a quiet road so drop off/pick up is easy even when Chapel Street is busy. They regularly share photos of the activities your child has been doing at nursery, and it’s great to see the nursery room decorated with the children’s artwork.

This nursery is lovely, my son has been here since 5 months old and he's become a clever and bubbly little boy. I was a little nervous leaving him due to covid as hes never left my side but the staff have made me feel completely different and I am able to leave him with a big smile on both of our faces. He loves all the girls in his room and the updates I receive via the app tell me everything I need to know. I would definitely recommend this nursery 100%
