About this day nursery

Kids adVentures is a not-for-profit organisation operating early years nursery settings in Prestwich and Salford for children aged 0-5 years. The nursery group is dedicated to providing high-quality, imaginative learning experiences that prioritise learning, well-being, movement, imagination, and environmental awareness.

They also manage a dedicated pre-school forest school in Prestwich, featuring cosy cabins, full facilities, a forest, a fire pit, and even chickens. What it's like

Children are happy and confident and show kindness to their peers. Older children support younger children, while babies thrive in a peaceful environment. Staff respect children, which helps children learn to respect others, and babies form affectionate bonds with staff. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, parents no longer enter the setting, and staff use this as an opportunity to promote children's independence, which has a positive impact. Children are engaged constantly, enjoy their learning, and are prepared for the next stages in their learning journeys due to combined toddler and pre-school rooms.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around morning, afternoon, full day, and full week sessions, with monthly billing. Additional early bird and late collection sessions are also available. Funded places are subject to a daily supplement fee to cover meals, consumables, and extracurricular activities.

Good to know

  • A deposit is required to confirm a child's place.

  • A daily supplement fee is charged for funded places to cover food, consumables, and Forest School.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The provision for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is a strength of the setting. The special educational needs coordinator is committed to ensuring all children can access and benefit from the curriculum. She implements detailed, unique plans to help close any gaps in children's development. This is largely successful as children make good progress and quickly begin to catch up to their peers.
