SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported. Staff engage with parents to ensure consistent strategies are used at home and in the nursery. Staff seek the advice of external professionals and this helps to support the good progress these children make. Staff use additional funding effectively.

Outdoor space

Outside, children have wide ranging opportunities to develop physically in the fresh air and in an indoor soft-play area. Outside, they practise their balancing skills and use the ride-on toys and bicycles to skilfully negotiate the space to avoid crashes.

My child has been at attending this nursery for over 6 months now. They enjoy their time at nursery and I’m happy with their development. The nursery is in a good location, is well equipped, spacious and the staff are warm and professional. I’d recommend this nursery to parents.

Best nursery to send your child in the area, staff are so lovely and welcoming, take the time to listen to any concerns and frequently check in with you to make sure there’s no changes that could effect you or your child in your home atmosphere, always happy to give any updates on your little one and express any concerns with their learning or development. SEN friendly and your child will come on leaps and bounds both confidence and learning wise, cannot fault them at all. This place deserves more than five stars by far and most definitely deserve an outstanding rating. As an anxious mum sending my child to nursery terrified me but I know she is looked after here as she would be by myself. Couldn’t recommend more!

Early years nursery have been amazing for both my girls. My first had an amazing experience where they fully prepared her for school and worked in great partnership with Pebsham school helping the transition for her. When I signed up my second I was pleasantly surprised to see the same staff team which with a 3 year gap is very rare in nurseries. My youngest who still attends the nursery is Autistic and I could not fault the nursery. They have listened to us as parents of her struggles at home. Worked with us to make strategies to help her to settle and grow. Every professional from Isend who have come to visit my daughter at the nursery all report back to me how amazing they are for children of need and all children and how welcoming they are to any suggestions from them. The senco is just amazing and continues to want to learn more and more to help a huge range of needs in children. Thank you early years

This is by far the best nursery in the area. Loving and nurturing environment. Friendly staff and you really feel like they care about and get to know your child. My youngest of 4 went there and I can safely say this is where I’ve felt happiest and my child had flourished.
