How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff readily help parents to access services and appointments with professionals so they get all the support they need for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Leaders identified that children have limited opportunities to play outdoors at home and, through securing funding and detailed planning, developed an exciting outdoor area where children can learn and explore. Children are empowered to take safe risks and physically challenge themselves as they use the steps and rope ladder in the climbing tree, enjoy exploring the giant sandpit, going on listening walks, and growing plants and vegetables.

I can't speak highly enough of Edenfield Nursery! The staff are amazing with the kids, and the curriculum is super engaging and fun. I love seeing their creative projects and hearing about their adventures. The facilities are top-notch too - it's a real haven for curious minds! Especially the big sand pit and different climbing equipment in the outdoor area. All the experiences they provide make a positive impact on the children's development, helping to foster a love of learning and making those all-important links between nursery and home seamless. My son came to the nursery a few years back, and now my 2-year-old daughter is joining - it's been a no-brainer, this nursery was my number 1 choice! I must add, the experiences provided helped my son overcome his fear of barbers. They invited a local barber in to talk to the kids during the time they learnt about people who help us and it really helped ease his anxiety. As the barber did a hair cut infront of them.Then onwards my son happily went to the barbers. Five stars from us 🌟

We honestly couldn’t be happier with Edenfield Nursery. The staff are absolutely amazing and truly go above and beyond for the children. My son really struggled to settle in at first, which was so hard as a parent, but the patience, care and dedication from the team made all the difference. Thanks to them, he now absolutely loves nursery and is so happy and confident there. The facilities are incredibly advanced and thoughtfully designed, and the experiences and activities offered are of such a high standard. It’s clear how much effort goes into supporting each child’s development, learning and wellbeing. We feel so reassured knowing our son is in such a nurturing, professional and stimulating environment. I can’t recommend Edenfield Nursery enough!

We couldn’t be happier with Edenfield Nursery! Both of our kids have loved going every day and have grown so much in confidence, learning, and social skills. The staff are not only caring and friendly but go above and beyond to make every child feel valued, supported, and loved. Their creativity, and genuine passion for what they do make the nursery feel like a second home. There is always something fun and creative planned for the kids, plenty exciting activities and engaging projects that keep them happy and inspired. The nursery is full of resources that encourage both learning and imagination, making every day a new adventure. We’re so grateful for the wonderful start they’ve given our children and feel very sad that our children’s time here has come to an end. I could not recommend Edenfield nursery anymore. A place where my kids felt, loved, valued and safe! Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our journey a beautiful one!

Edenfield Nursery has been a fantastic place for my son! The environment is warm, supportive, and perfect for early learning. A huge thank you to Mrs Mumtaz—she’s kind, patient, and truly cares about the children. She understands each child’s unique needs and helps them flourish in their own way. The head teacher is always approachable and clearly passionate about creating a positive, caring environment for the children. My son has grown so much since joining. Highly recommend!
