Inclusion & environment
Children benefit from staff who understand their individual needs and know their families well. Staff ensure that children are fully prepared and confident for each stage of their nursery journey.
Staff prioritise children's safety and well-being through consistent routines and vigilant care, monitoring the ultra violet rating and ensuring children wear hats all year round to protect them from the sun, with staff always wearing hats themselves when outside. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
We are so beyond happy with our experience at Edward Bears. Our daughter has been in two classes now and is thriving. She always comes home in the happiest mood and tells us all about her lovely days. The staff are always smiley and professional, and very caring. Thank you!
Read on GoogleMy 3 year old son has been at Edward Bears since he was 14 months old and he has really thrived there. He is now in Oaks and his toilet training has improved significantly. He has made so many friends and grown in confidence, particularly with his social skills and vocabulary. The staff have been really attentive and have encouraged his independence. I would recommend the nursery to someone wanting a good foundation to their child's early years development.
Read on GoogleI have 3 children, my eldest who attended Edward Bears from 9 months old who is now in school. My other child is currently in the nursery and my youngest is due to start in the next couple of weeks. My older 2 have LOVED every second at Edward Bears. They love the friends they have made, their key workers and the food! (Which is always a bonus) If I have ever had any concerns or queries I have been reassured and responded to with answers almost immediately. The nursery is clean and has amazing facilities for the children to enjoy with super friendly staff.
Read on GoogleMy child started here in September this year. It's been nothing but a pleasure to see him develop, the way he's come on since starting has been incredible. It is a nervous time for a Mum to send her first born to nursery but I really did not need to worry. The communication from the setting is fantastic, you always get speedy responses to any queries. I looked at other Nursery's in the area and Edward Bears stood out a mile off. It's spotless, they have a separate little room for them to nap in so they don't get disturbed and a large private car park. It's a joy sending my Son here and I look forward to many more happy years.
Read on GoogleI have two children in the setting and I am very happy with our overall experience. Both children are flourishing in all their milestones and behaviours and I know that Edward Bears play a part in this. All the employees are fabulous and really take the time to get to know the parents. I would recommend Edward Bears to anyone looking for a nursery place.
