Inclusion & environment
Staff show remarkable knowledge of each individual child's learning needs, and they are aware of the importance of retaining knowledge to allow children to further progress in their learning. Staff extensively review the children to understand their backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and individual needs.
Children experience the outside world extensively, with visits to the local parks, shops, library and church, and are involved in community events. Children behave impeccably, both inside and outside the setting.
My daughter has been going to Elephant Moon for almost 2.5 years after a terrible experience elsewhere. They were brilliant working with us to get her settled, she has thrived in the environment and we love all the staff there. Really receptive to feedback, proactive and do their best to accommodate activities and things my daughter has wanted to do on the days she attends. I only have great things to say and we will be sending our second there too.
Read on GoogleCommunication has been poor about availability of nursery places, it took 3 weeks to get any response after 2 emails and a phone call. I can't comment on the quality of the care/facilities as we'd already opted for somewhere else, it looks as though all the other reviews indicate our experience was the exception though.
Read on GoogleElephant moon day nursery is the most wonderful childcare setting where children thrive. As a first time mum, I was anxious about leaving my child with someone else but Elephant moon instantly put my mind at ease with regular updates and communications throughout the day. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming which creates a lovely family environment. All of the staff have known my child’s name from the moment she arrived, even the staff who don’t look after her on a daily basis. My daughter loves going there and practically runs in every morning. What more can you ask for! I can’t recommend Elephant Moon highly enough!
Read on GoogleFantastic nursery, happy and friendly staff. Our daughter has spent an amazing 3 years here. Would highly recommend. Thank you for everything Amanda and your team.
Read on GoogleMy son has been going to Elephant Moon since he was 9 months and loves it! My daughter also went there (she is just about to start secondary school!) The experience for both children has been excellent. Amanda and the whole team are so friendly yet professional. I have never had any concerns of any kind. I cannot recommend Elephant Moon highly enough and trust them 100%. They are so creative with the activities, the communication is very good. My son knows every single member of staff and they all know him (not sure if that's a good thing!!)
