Can’t praise this nursery enough, my son started September just gone, he absolutely loves it there, he literally gets so excited to go and comes out telling me all about his day and who he has played with! He is absolutely thriving and it’s so reassuring knowing how loved he is there. The staff are all so friendly and lovely, can’t thank them enough!

Ellergreen Nursery School is ran with so much passion, dedication and pride by Jane, the teachers and all supporting staff. They work incredibly hard to ensure that the wellbeing and development of all children is promoted within the school and I am endlessly grateful that my child has been able to spend his past year here. Throughout the year my child has had so many opportunities to learn and experience new things and has been supported excellently through his learning journey, including learning about big emotions. The school take a lovely approach to understanding Children’s emotions following The Zones of Regulation, supporting them in understanding their emotions and ways to cope with them. The setting has lovely, well thought-out resources and excellent outdoor provision - all which my child raves about! It is definitely somewhere he loves to be. The school also have a great home-school partnership, which has meant that I have had the opportunity to see much of my child’s progress not only through Tapestry but In person during Stay and Play sessions at the school. I only wish that the school had a primary school because I know it would be just as fantastic and wish we could stay forever!
