Most amazing nursery that exists and we have tried a few before this one. My boy started to attend Elmscot Nursery from when he was 10 months old. I was worried at first as didn't know if he'd settle in well being so young. However, all the staff are so warm and provide nurturing care to all the children there. It feels like a big family. He is 3 and a half now and he absolutely loved going to this nursery. He even wanted to go to nursery during the weekend. Children have lots of educational and fun activities daily, they learn to play different musical instruments and also have forest school and learn about nature and wildlife. All the staff are such a credit to this nursery. Welcoming, friendly, relaxed and professional throughout. The only regret I have is that my older son didn't attend this nursery. Thank you so much for providing such good care to our precious little ones and hiring the right, lovely people to work in your nursery.
Read on GoogleWe have had the pleasure of having our two children looked after by Elmscot Day Nursery for the past five years, after a lot of researching other nurseries before we set out. I can confidently say that they are simply the best in Timperley / Altrincham. Special thanks to Joe, Danielle, Mrs Williams, Ruby, Siobhan, Louise, Kathryn, and of course, Practice Manager Laura, who has gone above and beyond in every way over the years. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care have made a big difference in our children’s lives. We always felt reassured knowing our kids were in such capable hands, learning and growing in a warm, nurturing environment. Elmscot is not just a nursery; it’s a second home for our kids! Thank you for all the wonderful memories!
Read on GoogleAs 1st time parents, we relied on friends recommendations before visiting various nuseries in the area. I was still pregnant with our 1st daughter when we visited Elmscot, Altrincham. Our eldest is now nearly 3 and youngest 16 months. Both spend 3 days a week at Elmscot. I couldn't be happier with all aspects of the nursery - from the manager who is so helpful, friendly, flexible & a great leader to the team there, to the chef with all the nutritious, fabulous meals she creates for the children, to the girls in the rooms & the girls key workers, managing every day life for each age group. They are all an inspiration - they put so much more of themselves in to every day than I've seen in any other nursery. They genuinely LOVE the children in their care, they take personal ownership of creating brilliant, fun & developmentally stretching activities for their rooms/children and they make a point of making sure they bring the parents along for the ride, keeping us well informed of what goes on and what is coming up. They use an app called "Tapestry" and every week, they securely upload a report on each child with photos / videos of what they have been doing and how they are developing against the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS). They are objective & give great feedback and each evening at pick up, discuss the day face to face so you know in detail what they've been doing. We also have regular parents evenings so we can get updates on development and discuss ways we can work together to help. Basically, they tick all the boxes you'd want from the practical sides of a nursery but in addition, the staff put their heart and soul in to each day to make the children feel special, loved and cared for. "Loco Parentis" in the best way you'd hope for. I would hesitate but recommend Elmscot Altrincham or any of the nurseries in the Elmscot group. They strive to be the best at what they do and I think they do a fabulous job - you only need to look at the faces of our girls to see how much they love it there too!! :-)
Read on GoogleExtremely happy with the care & attention given to our daughter, who is in the Willow room in Timperley. Our daughter has settled very quickly which is a credit to the team, and we get detailed reports at the end of each day of all the fun activities she’s done. There is always a good section of food, freshly cooked each day. Liv (her key worker), Chelsea, Siobhan & Tasheika are all excellent. We’re very happy.
