About this day nursery

Excellence Day Nursery, located in Chingford, has been a dedicated childcare provider since its establishment in 2009. Initially serving the London borough of Tower Hamlets, the nursery has since relocated to its current Waltham Forest premises, continuing its mission to deliver high-quality care and education.

The nursery caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years, fostering a supportive environment crucial for their early development. Adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, Excellence Day Nursery promotes learning through play, enabling children to enhance their knowledge, creative thinking, and social skills.

The team is committed to providing a secure and nurturing space, recognising the importance of a strong partnership with parents. They ensure open communication regarding each child's wellbeing and progress, aiming to ease the transition for families leaving their children in nursery care.

Our ethos

Our mission remains the same, which is to provide the highest quality of care and education for children from 3 months to 5 years in a warm and caring environment. Excellence Day Nursery incorporates the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support and develop children’s play and learning. We provide a happy and secure environment in which children can develop and thrive by learning through play. Children are able to extend their knowledge, creative ideas and skills through socialising and communicating. Our staff work hard to ensure that we provide the very best care and support for the children, in a safe environment. We appreciate the challenges faced by parents to leave their children at nursery, therefore, we work in partnership with parents and keep them informed of all aspects of their child’s wellbeing and progress at nursery.

My child goes to Excellence day nursery, and he loves the nursery, his friends and the staff. The staff are very friendly and very polite and very approachable. For the past two years my son has been attending the nursery, l have not had any issues with them, because they really take good care of the children. For me and my son Excellence day nursery is like home away from home. My son is always very happy to go to the nursery and even at weekends he want to go too, but unfortunately they don't open weekends. I will continue to recommend Excellence day nursery to my friends and family

My daughter has been attending Excellence Day Nursery for over a year now and it only took me less than a month to realise how incredible they are! My daughter settled in as quick as two weeks and any worries I had went away very quickly. The teachers care so deeply for the children and know them all very well. My daughter adores each one of them and is so happy to see them at the door. They have a ‘home away from home’ feel and it truly does feel this way. We love it here at Excellence and are so thankful we found a place that suits us so well. So thankful to each of the staff members for making it so easy for my daughter to settle in and ease any worries I had about putting her into a nursery. As a first time mum the worries are endless, but I can see how genuinely happy my child is at this nursery and cannot fault them one bit. My daughter has already learned so much whilst being here and has become more confident with her words and who she is as a little individual. Thank you once again to Excellence for truly standing to their name as being excellent and helping shape our little humans into incredible individuals!

My Daughter loves being at the nursery. She will always talk about her teachers and friends. She has developed so much since she has started. She is more confident and courageous. The teachers are the nursery have been supportive and have been nothing but loving and caring towards my child and myself. This is hands down one of the best nurseries you can take your child to. I highly recommend.

I believe the name of the nursery already give us an insight of what to come. I was stressed about leaving my child with unknown people. Excellent day care nursery is more than the best, they support children in a holistic way. I feel like I am leaving my child with my own mother, which I do not have to worry about anything. I am more than greatful for the support I have been getting and I am highly positive to recommend this nursery to everyone parents who would like their children to be treated well and to be thought well. All the staffs are amazing ❤️❤️❤️ You deserve more than 5 start From lipsine

My son loves this nursery. He is happy to go there and he doesn't want to come back home 😁. I firmly recommend this nursery, teachers are always kind they teach kids new words and fraze. My son has known already many new words and he can count 1-10. My 5 stars give them
