How they support every child
SEND provision
Staff have high expectations for all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff know their key children very well and plan stimulating activities based on their interests, ensuring they make good progress and are always fully engaged in their learning.
Outdoor space
The outdoor area is spacious and provides good opportunities for children to develop climbing, balancing and jumping skills. Staff organise challenging games using balls and cones to develop children's coordination skills. However, some staff supervise rather than engaging with children in the garden to further support their learning.

We have had such a positive experience with this nursery. The staff are absolutely wonderful — caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child. The environment is warm, nurturing, and welcoming, and it truly feels like a safe space where children can grow and thrive. What stands out most is the attention given to each child’s individual development. Every child is seen, supported, and encouraged in their own way, which made a huge difference to my children’s confidence and progress. I’m incredibly grateful for the care, patience, and dedication shown by the whole team. I couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

My child has attended Excelsior Nursery since the age of one, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff are caring, professional, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children truly thrive. I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my child’s speech, behaviour, confidence, and social skills since attending. Leaving my child here gives me complete peace of mind. Our daughter loves this nursery! The dedicated staff team create a real sense of family for all children. The nursery provides a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The outdoor area is great in summer too. Parents receive diary updates about their child’s learning via the Blossom app and staff are always willing to answer any questions we might have. Highly recommended 🏅

Incredibly grateful for the care my son receives at this daycare. The environment is safe, nurturing, and full of positive energy. My son attends Excelsior Nursery, and I am really happy with the care and support he receives there. The staff are kind, patient, and genuinely caring towards the children, which gives me peace of mind every day. Since starting at the nursery, I have seen a big improvement in my son’s confidence, communication, and social skills.
