Inclusion & environment
Staff provide many opportunities for children to be independent, including putting on their coats and shoes for outdoor play. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, staff provide children with even greater support for physical development, including imaginative games with a parachute and weekly yoga sessions.
Staff do not provide all children who speak English as an additional language with enough opportunities to hear or use their home language to support their communication skills further.
Unprofessional and unreliable. First visited the preschool in September 2025, hoping for our daughter to start after Christmas. Communication was incredibly slow. We were told we would receive a welcome pack beginning of October, had nothing. Left several emails and phone called. Took several weeks to get a response. We were then told that they would drop round a welcome pack/contract in a couple of days. Still nothing. After then hearing a couple of negative stories from two other families, we decided that this wasn't the preschool for us. Such a shame. We are locals and thought this would be the perfect place for our daughter. We were left feeling unwelcome and an inconvenience.
