How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive good support. Leaders ensure that they make timely referrals to other agencies when appropriate. They work closely with external professionals to develop and implement targeted learning plans. This helps to close the gaps in children's learning.

Outdoor space

Staff provide plenty of physical activity. Children discover it is fun to be active. Babies are motivated to practise their large muscle movements as they crawl through tunnels and tackle steps on the indoor apparatus. Older children are keen to develop their physical abilities further. They set themselves challenges, such as balancing over stepping stones or jumping from one to the other.

My son started at Fatemah Day Nursery two weeks ago, and I’m so impressed with his progress. He went from not talking much to becoming much more vocal and confident in such a short time. At first, he struggled to settle, but the kind and supportive staff helped him feel at ease. Now, he is always excited and happy to go to nursery and absolutely loves the staff! The nursery is clean, warm, and well-organised, with great attention to hygiene and care. The staff are welcoming, respectful, and keep us informed about everything. They pay attention to every detail about my son and provide a nurturing environment. I’m also happy with the healthy, varied menu they offer. Fatemah Day Nursery has exceeded our expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the care my son is receiving. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have both been thrilled with the care provided by the nursery to both our sons since we enrolled our eldest in June 2021. The care provided by the setting is, in our opinion, outstanding. They feel at home in the nursery and that is all down to the love, care and engagement provided by the staff to the children, which is abundant. When discussing the boys with any member of staff, it is evidently clear they know our children well - they know their likes and dislikes, they embrace their personalities and they provide a learning environment in which their individuality can flourish. The nursery achieves a perfect balance between allowing the children to thrive in a play-led, loving environment whilst also identifying how they can nurture their learning in a way that feels fun and exciting to the children. Thank you so much Fatemah for taking such amazing care of our boys!

Our 2 children have been going to Fatemah’s since they were 8 months old. We love the way they treat us and our children. The approach they have is very personal but professional at the same time. They learn about so many things, we definitely feel that our eldest will be well prepared for school soon. And they come home knowing not to say “mine!”, knowing how important it is to treat others well and to say “thank you”. But what we like the most is how protected and loved they feel there. You can sense how much love and care they are given just by listening to the girls talking about their day at nursery and the way they walk in every day at drop off. I would 100% recommended this nursery. We are so lucky. Thanks Fatemah!

We’ve been so happy with Fatemah’s nursery. Our daughter has been attending for 2 years now and loves it. Her development has been amazing and comes home with new skills/vocabulary she’s been taught. She was fully potty trained within one week with their amazing support. The staff are so friendly and professional.

My son has been at the Nursery since August 2020 and absolutely loves it. He has come on leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and developmentally. Fatemah Nursery have supported with potty training, eating independently and enforcing good manners and positive behaviours. He speaks fondly of the staff and his friends. His language has developed quickly as when he started he was a relunctant speaker. The nursery are fantastic at relying his week at nursery and what will happen the following week, so activities can be supported at home. Thank you so much Fatemah Staff!
