The nursery is registered with Ofsted as an Early Years Register provider and is managed by Fennies Day Nurseries Limited. The setting demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusion and meeting individual needs, with leaders gathering comprehensive information from parents regarding children's backgrounds, health needs, and potential learning barriers from the outset.

The nursery also prioritises healthy habits, with children actively participating in making healthy snacks and learning about oral hygiene with guidance from healthcare professionals.

Areas to develop
Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff know the children extremely well and quickly identify any emerging needs, including for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They are proactive in recognising barriers to children's learning and wellbeing. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities make rapid progress from their starting points and feel included, supported and valued.
Physical development is promoted extremely well, with children climbing, balancing and running, showing clear enjoyment of outdoor play. Staff monitor outdoor play closely. Children giggle with delight as they chase flowing water outside or mix ingredients in the mud kitchen. They huddle together in the outdoor playhouse to fill buckets in the sandpit.
Staff skilfully adapt the environment so that all children, including those with English as an additional language, feel included, supported, and valued. They provide guidance on supporting children's speech and language.
Fantastic nursery, lovely engaged staff, clean environment and happy children. I was apprehensive about my little one starting nursery but the support shown my Kiri, Laura, Sam, Megan and the team made the transition really smooth and he enjoys his time so much! The team were accomodating around his settling in which helped so much and it's generally such a wonderful environment for the children to be in. Lovely garden, painting and cooking room too!
Read on GoogleFennies nursery firstly is a wonderful and happy place to be for both children and parents and from speaking to staff it’s clear that it’s also a great place to work. The team that work here are like a big family and every single one of them has a smile on their face. My children hated nursery prior and had terrible separation anxiety. After just one week of settling sessions at Fennies I knew something was different as my children asked to go back and were excited to start. The staff have treated both my children 3 and 2 as individuals, getting to know them as little humans and finding out all their little quirks, dislikes and how they work. This is so important to me as each child in my opinion is different. The rooms are so bright and the activities are endless. The vast development I have seen in both my children from a confidence and educational point of view is remarkable and as a mother I couldn’t be happier. The app used to update you through the day is easy to use and very informative in real time. The food is exceptional and I’m an advocate of self serving so the fact the children have choice to experience new foods I think is brilliant. My children love messy play and cooking and at Fennies they embrace this and my children both cook the most wonderful treats for myself and their dad to enjoy after a long day at work. All in all I cannot recommend this nursery enough and I will be sad for my children to leave for school.
