Children arrive eager to start their day, greeted by familiar staff who take the time to get to know each child and their family, fostering a sense of safety and security. The pre-school has a "Good" Ofsted rating, following its latest inspection on 23rd May 2025.
Leaders and staff implement a highly ambitious and well-sequenced curriculum, which helps children to remember previous learning and build on their prior knowledge through weekly themes. For example, staff ignite children's imaginations with ample resources during themes such as 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', enabling them to make connections with familiar stories.
The curriculum also focuses on developing children's knowledge of the world around them. Children engage in outdoor learning activities, such as creating a planting area with lavender and vegetables, where they learn to water plants and observe a wormery.
Leaders swiftly identify any children who may benefit from additional support, developing specific plans with targeted daily intervention sessions led by their key person. This ensures that all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), make good progress from their starting points.
