Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress from their starting points. Staff are sensitive to children's unique needs and abilities, planning activities tailored to individual interests and development stages.
Children enjoy a good mix of adult-led activities and self-chosen play, both indoors and outside. They explore independently and staff remain close by to guide and support learning.
1.My boy was at this nursery, who came home sick every couple of days. 2.You will never get to see the manager is.. It's like she is non existent. 3.Why are parent's not allowed to go inside? What's to hide? The first time I went i visited it looked very daunting, hardly any lighting (i understand electric bills have gone through the roof, but common), I see many red flags to be fair. So please be sure to query the above before you leave you're toddler here. He's currently happy and attending the rochdale college.
Read on GoogleOur son has been attending the gables nursery for two and a half years and had his last day recently. He has really loved his time here. All the staff have been incredible, always friendly, professional, helpful and brilliant with our son. They have always created a warm and welcoming environment and we feel our son has developed and learned lots of new skills during his time here. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a wonderful, caring environment for our child.
Read on GoogleBoth my little ones have attended the Gables nursery, and now we are approaching the graduation of the youngest this week, and let me tell you, we are so heavy hearted about it coming to an end. The care provided has been highly professional and this has been a result of amazing leadership by the Nursery Manager, who has beautifully set an example to pass down to all her staff. Such a warm and caring learning environment, and how well and thoughtfully any complexities are dealt with by the staff, is only worthy of high praise. My children lost a very dear Grandad, and from finding out his diagnosis to the ongoing grief cycle, the leadership team and staff have gone over and beyond with the care provided. Activities to empower both parent and child are delivered with such skill, knowledge base and warmth. They have set the bar very high. So grateful for everything.
Read on GoogleMy son Greyson will shortly be leaving Fisherfield and starting school and I can’t even begin to say how much he will miss nursery. He has been attending full time since he was one and has grown so much within that time into a confident, happy, clever and caring boy who is ready now to start his school life. The ladies are kind, patient, creative and take care of your child like they are family and we would like to thank Jess, Lauren, Mahima, Aimie, Salma, Sarah, Cherine & Sana etc for helping our little boy to thrive. Thank you for all that you have done for Greyson and we look forward to Oakley starting with you in January
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending The Gables for almost a year. She has settled in really well and I am very happy with the care she receives. All the staff are friendly and approachable, she is comfortable with them and they have a good understanding about her routines, likes/ dislikes. I receive daily updates and photographs about her day and parents are encouraged to share photos and updates. I like that they create activities and play ideas in nursery that relate to her recent interests. I also like that they involve parents and invite you into nursery for play sessions. They encourage and support development through interesting play ideas and this has supported my daughter’s development and confidence. She will be moving into the farmers room soon and they have supported her to make this a fun, enjoyable transition. She is very happy at the gables and we as parents couldn’t ask for anything more.
