What it's like to attend

• Children at the nursery are happy and confident, making good attempts at copying quacking sounds and celebrating new dance moves.
• Children show they feel safe and talk to staff about how they are feeling, with daily opportunities for outdoor play.
• Children learn to feed the nursery pets and enjoy the challenges set for them by staff to extend their learning.
• Leaders have trained and supported staff to understand how to extend children's language and communication skills, with staff singing, reading, and asking relevant questions throughout the day.
• Staff support children's emerging independence well, allowing them to select toys and providing additional learning opportunities based on their interests.
• Parents praise the staff team highly for knowing children well and regularly seeking their views on improvements.
• Staff gather meaningful information from parents before children start to help them settle quickly, particularly for children with SEND.
