Our girls have been at Fledglings since before turning one year old, and are very happy there. They run in enthusiastically every morning and look forward to seeing their carers and friends and doing lots of interesting new things. Kat and her team have been great, very caring and fun but also professionally focused on nurturing and developing the children. The outside space is a huge bonus. The children play outside whenever weather allows and enjoy forest-school activities within the grounds. As far as I know this is the best/largest outside space of any local nursery. There's also lots of indoor space, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. Some parts of the facilities (eg the front gate) look well-used, but don't let that put you off, everything works and is safe. Chivalry Rd playground and Wandsworth Common are on the doorstep and the children love playing there with their friends after pick-up on summer evenings. The community of parents is lovely and there's lots of birthdays and get-togethers outside of nursery time (via the WhatsApp group). Prices are very reasonable, even more so with funding, and the hours are fully covered 8AM-6PM (half days are possible), either term-time only or year-round. The management are also as flexible as possible and happy to accommodate any changes if they can.

What a lovely nursery right in the heart of Wandsworth common. Our son started at Fledglings a few months ago after we specifically looked for a setting with more outdoor space and we could not be happier with our choice! The outdoor environment is a real highlight. Having daily access to fresh air and nature has made a big impact to our son’s enjoyment of nursery life! The staff are warm, attentive and take great care of all the children. Communication with parents is very good, with regular updates and a friendly team. We can see our son’s confidence build even from just a few months of being there!Thank you to the team for making this transition so smooth for us! Alek

Hands down the best nursery in South West London. My daughter has been going to Fledglings for almost three years now and every day I am thankful that we chose this wonderful space for her. The teachers are brilliant, the forest school aspect is a real draw and there is a wonderful community amongst the parents. The highest praise I can give is that my little one comes home smiling every day. Highly recommended.

Great facility, brilliantly managed by kind and professional people. The indoor space is nicely set up and the outdoor space is generous and designed to keep the kids active but also relax and read under the trees if they prefer. The staff is lovely, keeping the kids busy with meaningful activities for learning through play. My 2.5yo is excited to go there every day! I would totally recommend it

Both do my children have absolutely thrived at this nursery. The team are so kind, patient, and genuinely caring and you can feel how much they love what they do. The outdoor ‘forest school’ style setup is great too, my little ones come home full happy and tired after fun days. We’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing, inspiring place and fully recommend
