parents state that they find the staff caring and they feel included in their child's time at nursery, for instance when children are moving to a new room.
Inclusion & environment
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is strong. Staff liaise with external agencies and families to create individual learning plans. Children access good-quality learning experiences and make clear progress in their development.
Staff arrange the garden so children of all ages can use their large muscles to build strength and control. While staff provide a range of experiences outdoors, they do not always engage with children to extend learning to equally good levels as they do when teaching indoors.
Our daughter attended Flower Pots from 3 years old after moving house from a different town and nursery. The staff made the transition between nurseries very easy. They have been a fantastic support for our child and ourselves especially in preparing to start school. They are a great team and have built a wonderful relationship with us and our daughter. Flower Pots is a comfortable, supportive and happy setting for babies all the way up to pre school children. We would highly recommend.
Read on GoogleCannot praise Flower Pots enough. My little boy has been so, so happy here and really thrived under the care of his teachers. His personality and interests were expertly nurtured while also encouraging him to listen to others and enjoy their favourite games too, and he has been so well prepared for starting school this September. Fantastic team and setting with a lovely big outdoor area and a huge array of different educational and social activities each day.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been at the nursery since it opened last September when she was one. We honesty couldn’t be happier, the whole team from the management to all the staff in the different rooms are wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely, there is such genuine care and love for the children. The kids spend plenty of time outside every day regardless of the weather, as well as a whole range of activities. Our daughter loves her nursery days and merrily strolls in now without a backwards glance! Charlotte and Gemma, you’ve been outstanding right from the start, thank you!
