Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. Staff use observations and assessments to identify gaps in children's learning and work closely with parents and other professionals to access additional support. This ensures that children make the best progress from their individual starting points. Staff use simple sign language throughout the nursery to enable all children to communicate their needs.

Outdoor space

Children quickly become involved in activities, and the nursery is a hive of activity, both inside and outdoors. Children enjoy being physically active and spend lots of time outside in the fresh air.

The management, particularly the nursery manager and deputy manager, is severely lacking; they demonstrate a lack of professionalism and communication abilities. The nursery manager often hangs up on you and can be quite abrupt during discussions. If you raise a concern or wish to file a complaint, the manager may respond by suspending your child or children, alleging that their accounts are in debt, and subsequently terminate their enrollment at the nursery. The nursery manager fails to conduct herself in a professional manner and does not take responsibility for the distress she causes during your child's time at the nursery. One of my children had their enrollment terminated, and my oldest child was nearly in the same situation. The nursery manager fabricates stories about you, portraying you as aggressive to others. If you challenge the nursery manager, be cautious, as it could lead to the termination of your child's placement. The nursery manager also suggests how you should fulfill your role as a mother.
