What it's like
The nursery operates from a church hall and has a cosy, homely feel. Children of all ages share the same hall, with young babies having a dedicated, divided space. This allows babies, many born during periods of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to have a greater range of social interactions with older babies, toddlers, and pre-school children.
Fees exclude meals which are billed separately per meal. Healthy snacks are provided on a complimentary basis throughout the day.

Inclusion & environment
The manager understands how to access early help from a range of other professionals for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The curriculum is adapted to provide activities which meet the specific learning targets for children with SEND. For example, staff use traffic-light colours to communicate stop and go instructions. Clear routines support all children including those with SEND to understand nursery expectations.
The report mentions that older children work as a team to care for their community garden and learn about the life cycle of plants.
