Fun Frogs Day Nursery is dedicated to providing outstanding childcare and early years education. Established in 2007, the nursery operates from two locations: one in Handforth and a pre-school in Wilmslow.

The Handforth setting caters for children from birth to school age, with dedicated rooms for 'Tadpoles' (0-22 months), 'Frogs' (22 months-3 years), and 'Toads' (3 years-school age). The Wilmslow Pre-school serves children from 2 years up to school age.

Both nurseries offer stimulating environments, including excellent outdoor spaces. The nursery prides itself on its experienced and long-standing team of staff, including dedicated early years practitioners, a manager, a deputy manager, and an on-site chef.

All staff are highly trained in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and food hygiene, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. Fun Frogs focuses on preparing children for school, particularly in the 'Toads' and Pre-school rooms, where a structured approach and uniform promote a sense of belonging and readiness for the next stage of their education.

The nursery operates year-round, closing only for bank holidays and during the Christmas and New Year period, offering consistent care from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

What it's like

Children skip happily into the nursery on arrival and benefit greatly from the interesting and meaningful learning experiences that staff provide. They learn about the life cycle of a butterfly through stories and observation, supporting their curiosity. Staff prioritise building strong relationships with children and parents, which helps them understand children's interests and provide helpful learning activities.
