Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents and carers praise the thought and care that staff put into their role.
Parents report that they receive information about children's accidents and injuries at pre-school.
Inclusion & environment
Staff observe children and assess their progress to identify signs of special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They make timely referrals to other agencies and incorporate specialist professionals' advice into individual programmes, ensuring all children, including those with SEND, make good progress.
The pre-school makes well-planned use of outdoor spaces. Toddlers who prefer to play outside know they can return there after register time, learning to cooperate with routines. Children put on and fasten their coats before running and playing in the rain, which promotes skills that promote their independence.
