Needed alternative childcare for our daughter in a very short timeframe, this was after a terrible experience at one of the larger childcare providers. Sonja the owner was clear about timelines to secure a space and what the ethos of fundamentals is. We have been having a great experience with them and the team is incredible. Our daughter quickly settled in and enjoys going. We knew we made the right choice when she cried when we picked her up to go home as she was having so much fun.
Read on GoogleWe were excited to start our child here full time, and gave more than 4 weeks notice to start. The nursery cancelled on us with less than 3 days until our child was meant to start, leaving us (2 full time working parents) scrambling to find alternate options.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has attended Fundamentals for almost 3 years. She absolutely loves it there. We have seen continuous improvements in her development and she surprises us every day. She’s always excited to attend and comes out with a spring in her step! The staff are brilliant. Our daughter is always speaking about them away from nursery. They are always really friendly and informative on pick up and drop off. During the pandemic, they supported all parents with changes and restrictions and were very flexible in their approach. Which helped us massively. We can’t thank them enough for their support and development of our daughter.
Read on GoogleA very abrupt manager told me that I couldn’t have a show round or speak with them about the nursery even though I stated I needed to address my daughters medical concerns. They repeatedly told me that I had to go on a waiting list and that they wouldn’t speak to me, I wouldn’t of been enlisting until after my daughters potential heart surgery but I just wanted clarification. The owner proceeded to get quite annoyed and tell me to email in and they would see what they could do! They didn’t seem to care about my daughters medical needs and were more interested in what was going on the other side of the phone even when I asked “is this a bad time?” Will absolutely not be sending my daughter to someone who couldn’t even take the time out to speak to me properly with some compassion about our daughter potentially attending!
Read on GoogleHaving loved our previous nursery, moving to Bicester and choosing Fundamentals Childcare for our youngster was not an easy decision to make. We as parents were anxious about another change in our child's life and how unsettling this could be for them. I am delighted to say it was the BEST decision we could possibly have made. From the management to the key workers, all the staff showed their genuine care and interest in our child from the outset. Knowing they were happy, safe and well cared for is such a huge comfort when parent-guilt strikes. We could see intellectual, emotional and character development on a daily basis and they have laid the foundations for school-life perfectly. I honestly would not hesitate to send another child to Fundamentals Childcare.
