Inclusion & environment
Leaders are passionate about providing inclusive care and ensuring that all children's needs are met. Children are taught different strategies to communicate, such as using Makaton and pictorials. This ensures all children make good progress and feel confident in their learning.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning. Staff provide opportunities for children to learn through play as children set up camp under the trees.

The General Day Nursery & After School registered in 1995. The nursery opens from Monday to Friday, all year round, with the exception of one week at Christmas and bank holidays. Sessions are from 7.30am until 6pm. The nursery provides government funded early education for children aged from 9 months. A holiday school provision for older children is also offered.
