Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders have created a highly inclusive setting where all children are welcomed and supported, regardless of their needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Embedded assessment procedures support staff in identifying any delays in development and in quickly taking steps to narrow gaps through targeted teaching and support. Some staff are expertly trained to support children with SEND, liaising closely with a range of specialist agencies to reduce barriers to children's learning. Leaders have clear oversight of the use and impact of any additional funding, involving parents in these decisions, which helps children with SEND to make rapid progress in their development and learning, narrowing gaps in children's communication and language skills.

Outdoor space

Children are given many opportunities to be physically active in the fresh air. Children run and climb as staff remind them how to stay safe on the slide. They initiate chasing games, then talk about the impact on their bodies as their hearts beat faster. Staff support children's physical development well.

Fantastic nursery! Can not fault the nursery and it's staff, all very friendly after having a negative time at another nursery the staff was so kind and considerate to my concerns, most days i had pictures, baked food and salt dough that she had created here she settled in so well and would take some time to get her to leave. In-depth account of what she had been doing every day with her report. My daughter had a little bond with Chris and Jude who where very kind and friendly towards her and she was with them. Truly saddened to leave the nursery, hopefully she will be back soon

when my son first started going he was really nervous and he would cry as i left but within two days he was waving me off through the window, all the staff made he settle in really quick and are lovely people, and even though josh cant talk yet i can just tell he absolutly loves the place :)

The staff are always on hand to answer any questions, it's just a superb place for kids. My son loved it and never wanted to come home.
