About this day nursery

Glebe Farm Nursery School, part of the Storal family, offers a welcoming and supportive environment where children can embark on their early learning journey. The nursery focuses on creating a secure, joyful, and inspiring atmosphere for both children and their families.

They ensure a smooth transition into nursery life through tailored settling-in sessions and assign a dedicated key person and team to each child, who work closely with parents to meet individual needs and guide children through various developmental stages, including preparation for school. The nursery values strong parent-nursery partnerships, providing daily updates on routines, activities, and meals, as well as progress through learning journals and parent evenings.

They also offer a parent app, Famly, for seamless communication and updates. The admissions process is structured, starting with an online registration of interest, followed by nursery visits, and finally, confirmation of place with a registration fee and deposit.

Called with 10 weeks notice to place my 4 year old autistic son who is very relaxed but non verbal and easy going. Told that is fine we have availability complete a form to pay fees. Did so waited and had to chase until I got a response 2 weeks later to say no we cant take him due to his needs and time required to get additional help in place. Didn't even phone me which is what they said they would do. Disappointing as they said yes and had me wait preventing me from finding another nursery. Advertised as an inclusive nursery...

With my job I visit a lot of nursery schools throughout the Midlands and this defiantly gets the top 5 stars. The staff are caring and friendly and this clearly is passed onto the children in there care.

An excellent, welcoming nursery with caring staff in a spacious, child-centred setting. Lots of outdoor space and lots of opportunity to play outside. Staff are very knowledgable and approachable. Both of my sons have attended this nursery and I definitely think the care and attention they received here has had a long-term impact on their educational and social achievements.
