Gogmore Lane Nursery is a childcare setting dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The nursery operates for 51 weeks a year, closing only for Christmas, a bank holiday week in August, and one annual inset day for staff training.
Children benefit from a comprehensive programme that includes engaging activities like "Boogie Beats" for movement, music, and dance, along with an online portal for parents to track daily news and their child's learning journey. The nursery prioritises the well-being of its attendees by offering a varied and nutritious menu, catering to babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children with distinct meal plans and vegetarian options.
Inclusive fees cover essential items such as nappies, baby wipes, sun cream, and sanitary supplies, encompassing a holistic approach to childcare. With a strong commitment to safety and development, Gogmore Lane Nursery also makes its key policies, including Safeguarding and SEND, readily available to parents.

Inclusion & environment
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is effective. Staff work with parents to share and regularly review all children's learning and development. Leaders work in partnership with parents and children's key persons to plan the most effective and appropriate use of any additional resources.
Staff provide children with ample opportunities to be physically active, and they enjoy going outside each day. Babies enjoy engaging in risk-taking play as they curiously explore their environment, such as crawling through cupboards and under furniture, under the close supervision of staff.
We were finding it hard to decide which nursery to go with in the local area, and had the usual first-time parent anxieties about leaving our c2 year old with a nursery, but the team here are amazing. Our boy loves it at the nursery baby room, and is always so excited to show us/try and tell us what he did during the day when we pick him up. And I have to say that in particular Kasha and Sara have given us so much confidence that he’s well looked after. When we first visited the nursery we had only one concern, which was whether our son would sleep in the baby room as there’s no separate sleep room as such, but he’s been fine and adapted to it immediately. Some of the best things we’ve seen is that 1) at home our son will often use words, actions or start singing his version of a nursery rhyme (or at least his version of it) and we’ll look at each other and be like ‘did you show him that?’. So he’s obviously learning a lot there. 2) They have lots of toys and activities which he loves and shows us when we arrive to collect him. 3) They have a nice morning breakfast routine where all the kids sit around and have breakfast together. 4) The nursery is very secure and safe, with a heavy door and buzzer/camera entry system. And 5) The nursery uses an app where you can see what/how much they ate at meal times, how long they sleep for, (and you can ask them to limit accordingly with your sleep plan), nappy changes and whether #1s or #2s, and they also post pictures of the daily activities so you and quell any withdrawal symptoms 😊 I don’t know why there’s only a handful of reviews on google for Gogmore, however if you’re in the position we were i.e. deciding whether to go with a larger/chain childcare provider or a local provider, we can honestly can say we know we made the right choice here. The team are superb! 👌
Read on GoogleMy daughter started at 9 months old back in April, I was incredibly nervous as a first time mum. The staff at Gogmore Lane completed flexible settle in sessions to ensure that she was giving enough time to adjust. Over the last few months, I have seen so much development with my child, in various areas, communication, fine motor and gross motor skills. She is always doing different activities and this is shared with us, as parents, through a portal, so we don’t miss anything. All the staff are always so welcoming and take the time to talk to you about anything. I would genuinely recommend Gogmore Lane Nursery to anyone looking in the area. My child is happy and healthy, always pleased to see everyone at nursery!
Read on GoogleMy daughter was one of the first kids who started at Gogmore Lane Nursery when it opened in October 2022. As a kid, she takes time to settle down in a new environment and with new people, and the staff at Gogmore comforted her through this new transition. It was a lot for her to take in as we recently moved to this area and house, and at Gogmore, the staff understood this and helped her settle down. Now she knows everyone by name and is very friendly and chatty with them. She has come so far with her artwork, speech, colours, shapes, rhymes and everything a 2-year-old should know. Katie, Emma, and all other staff are friendly, compassionate, kind, and patient. I would recommend Gogmore to anyone.
Read on GoogleMyself and and my partner are currently fostering are grandchildren, we placed our grandson who is now 3yrs old in the new Gogmore Lane Nursery when it opened last September. He was one of the first to start there. We would like to THANK all the staff and especially Katie the manager for all her hard working efforts to attend our needs and that of our grandson with our fostering assessments and that of the local authorities requirements. I cant state enough for what an excellent nursery this is! Our grandson loves it here, and has calmed his needs, he eats well, especially the lamb dish, he loves it! He learns literacy and maths and science, and plays with all the different activities inside and outside, even their trips to the park are a learning curve. He has made lots of new friends and we also can observe his day on the online portal which is also very reassuring! All the staff are welcoming, kind, and attention to detail, we will most definitely be placing our grandaughter there too whom im sure will love going to nursery as much as he does!! Thanks guys! Read on GoogleTerrible experience. I sent my daughter to this nursery, and we were never able to get our deposit back despite multiple attempts. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Avoid from this nursery.
