The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and disabilities.
My daughter has been attending this Nursery since she was 9 months old. Evelyn enjoys attending Nursery and attends 3 full days a week. She has a fantastic relationship with her key person who is able to respond well to her needs. Michelle (Baby room leader) is excellent with the children and provides high quality care. Evelyn is always talking about Michelle at home. Evelyn has made some lovely friends at Nursery and I have been able to meet up for play-dates outside of the Nursery. It has been incredible to watch Evelyn grow and develop. She has learnt so much and this is all down to the staff team at Golden Valley House Day Nursery. The ethos of the Nursery supports my parenting style and has provided Evelyn with the independence skills she has wanted and needed for so long. Golden Valley also offers extra-curricular opportunities for children and this is something that I could not find in other Nurseries, I can't wait until Evelyn is a little older and can access these.
