My daughter Frankie had been at Old Macdonalds since they first opened in 2023, and I honestly can’t praise the nursery and its wonderful staff enough. After a terrible experience at another nursery in Burnham-on-Sea, we were understandably cautious while waiting for a childminder placement. However, it quickly became clear that Old Macdonalds provided outstanding care and attention to my daughter’s individual needs, so we chose to stay. The nursery is 100% child and family focused, putting this element of their business before profit, and that culture translates through their staff. Frankie has now graduated and will be starting reception this September, and I couldn’t feel more confident about how well prepared she is. Thanks to the nurturing, stimulating environment at Old Macdonalds, she’s had the perfect start to her early years learning and development.

My son joined Old Macdonalds for his last year before going to 'big school' due to his old preschool closing. I can honestly say I wish I had known about this place before, as I would have sent him here earlier. I have nothing but good words to say. The owners are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They always have time for a chat at drop off, pick up or in-between should you need to see them, which I did on a few occasions. The staff are all amazing, they have really got to know the likes and dislikes of my son and worked with him to give him a fun and structured day. A full handover is given at pick up, which is very detailed and shows the thought that has been put into the activities of the day, of which there are too many to list. The meals are amazing and well thought out, my son has tried many foods that he would normally have refused to try at home. Lastly, although there is so much more that I could say, from an additional needs perspective they are again, amazing. They helped my son with a referral to speech therapy and have given me some brilliant advice and reassurance around other issues. I truly believe that as a result of sending my son to this preschool my son grown in confidence and is now armed with the tools he needs for the next chapter in his life. Thank you so much to you all, for everything you have done over the year and the best of luck for the years ahead ❤️

My daughters been attending Old Macdonald's since it opened- I had viewed a few other nurserys before Old Macdonalds opened & this one by far was the most welcoming, child focused and the staff really care, felt more homely. They've been very helpful and patient when my daughter had separation anxiety, and any other issues that have occurred, they're supportive of the whole family and not just the little ones attending. The nursery has an amazing range of toys which has helped my daughter expand her play, it's a really nice space for the kids to learn and play in. They have an app which they update daily so I know everything my daughter has been up to and what she's eaten. I highly recommend this nursery!

My son started February and we are so grateful for the support. My son is happy to go to nursery and feel so happy. We have noticed huge positive changes since he started, he is now sociable, not scared around people and the staffs are just the best. They are welcoming to both parents and children, the environment is conducive for the children and when the staffs have any concerns they immediately inform us. The parent zone app is also excellent, it helps us have track of how our children are been taking care of throughout their stay in the nursery.

literally the best nursery I have seen in a long time, my 3 year old son goes here and has been for over a year now and they have been fantastic, they have a fantastic app to show me what he's been doing there, the food he's been having and the important education steps that he has either completed or working towards. they are a perfect example for how a nursery should be, my son loves his nursery and all the staff that work there, all the staff are so friendly and easy to talk to and very understanding, my son hudson often talks about to me about all the friends he has made and what he has been doing with his one to ones and it's just a lovely thing to hear when my son at the start was so shy and had no friends to begin with but he has completely come out of his shell and has had the best experiences a child could ask for. they brought my son out of his shell and now he is confident in meeting loads of new people and facing new challenges to overcome his fears which is something very important for when a child goes to school. in my opinion no nursery or preschool comes close to being better than old macdonalds day nursery, they are fantastic😊😇❤️
