About this day nursery

Greengate Nursery and Pre-School, a recent addition to the LEYF family, offers a nurturing environment for children from birth to 5 years old. Located in a converted barn-style building in Plaistow, Newham, the nursery boasts a large garden space catering to babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

The dedicated team focuses on fostering independence and early literacy through activities like self-registration, and provides effective support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The curriculum is enriched with imaginative role-play, outdoor exploration, community outings, and creative art to stimulate curiosity and learning.

The nursery manager, Morgan Parker, holds a Level 3 in Childcare and a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies, and is passionate about outdoor learning and its benefits for young children's confidence, creativity, and curiosity. Greengate Nursery aims to create a secure and happy setting where children can flourish and discover the world around them.
